Seven years after Geoff Pinch opened Four Quarters Meats in Sidney West, Geoff and partner Rob Mountfort have opened Four Quarters Market in the same complex. Sidney was then an ideal spot for Geoff to produce his artisanal charcuterie and serve his wholesale customers in Victoria, the Gulf Islands, and the lower mainland.  Sidney is now an ideal location for Four Quarters Market to serve our local community. 

Our new venture is a direct and local response to a global crisis — Covid-19. The pandemic has changed the world, changed every facet of our work and home lives. Nothing is as it was.

As an essential service food manufacturer we take our responsibility to provide food security seriously but also enjoy the opportunity of providing our neighbours with quality food prepared well. Nothing fancy. Just good meals for your family or something to keep you going through the day. 

We’re serving sandwiches between 11 and 2 on weekdays — The Cubano and the Reuben have been a hit with the neighbourhood's workers. Soups, Pasta, Stews, Pot Roasts & Meat Pies are all stocked in the freezer ready to take home, heat & eat. There are olives and cheese and fresh beef in the fridges, pasta and grains and sauces on the shelves. 

Of course all of that is in addition to our full range of charcuterie from bacon and ham to salami, snacking sticks and whole muscle cures to fresh sausages — the stuff that established Four Quarters Meat’s reputation for excellence and quality.
